Re: Looking for Apple ][ era Apple Logo font
Hey folks, ease off on Supertimer. We all make mistakes
and errors from time to time. NOBODY IS PERFECT you know.
I'm sure he did not intend to present any misinformation
concerning this request and he did post that he didn't intend
doing such.
What you want you can find on the Ground Apple2 ftp site.
|-> ground.ecn.uiowa.edu <-|
Browse around in the following folder and take your pick.
They are all pretty much the same in most respects and
THEY ARE the fonts you seek concerning: 'Apple II'.
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/
There's; APPLE.II (which is a SHK-ShrinkIt
archive)
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/appleii80.bsq
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/cuperfnt.bsq
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/cuperfnt.shk
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/cuperfnt.shk.txt
ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu//2/apple2/Fonts/Cupertino.font.SHK
These are all Apple IIgs 'type' fonts. You can check the sub-folder
'Truetype' in the Fonts folder if you are looking for it as a TrueType
font.
I'm sure you'll find exactly what you were looking for from
the above suggestions to check. Perhaps I made an error or
unintentional mistake with the above too. If so, sorry about
that...I'm not perfect either.
Cheers,
Tom
