Re: Apple IIGS and Hard Drive
Mike Welsh: "Just got a Apple IIGS 'WOZ' edition (which I am told is
rare?).
Is it possible to attach a hard drive to a IIGS or am I stuck with
just using floppies?"
Of course. You can either get a Focus card which is an IDE controller
with an IDE hard drive attached to it or you can get a SCSI card
(RAMFast for an example) and get a SCSI hard drive. The first method is
cheaper but if you want to attach stuff like CD-ROM and Zip drives, you
might as well go with the SCSI option.
