Not sure about Zip GS.  On the TWGS (opened the IIGS
case to take a look), the dot and the sharp corner
coincided at the top-left.

Open your IIGS case and take a look at the oscillator
on the Zip GS.  I am guessing that it should be the
same on the Zip GS.  I can't be sure without a Zip GS
to look at.
