It is more correct to say that GEOS files can't be manipulated
with ProDOS utilities.  However, GEOS can manipulate ProDOS
files fine.  Better than A2 Desktop.

The fact that GEOS files cannot be manipulated by ProDOS
programs is not a big deal.  GS/OS files with resource forks
can't be normally manipulated with ProDOS 8 programs either.

A2 Desktop does not make files at all.  It just provides a
"Finder" launcher and utility.  It is not an operating system.
