I seem to recall someone quite a while back formatting 3.5" disks
under MS-DOS (3.3 I think, could be wrong). He was trying to get
something to run on a 3.5" disk that wouldn't run on a 720K formatted
floppy and wanted to see if it was the size of the disk.
So, I think there used to be an option under MS-DOS for that, but
it's been too long and I pay very little attention to what goes on
in the intel and compatible world.
