1984 sounds good for having Revision B motherboard.

The 1981 date seems too early for a board that's going to get you
double-hires; but, I don't know for sure.
You can get an Extended 80-col card which is supposed to add double-hires
from MC Price Breakers for around $15. For info on the board see ...
