Well, lets just say YMMV because I remember just the opposite with the
deskjet 500c. I never had a laser printer so I was speaking of the deskjet
and I remember graphics looking better with internal rendering. I only
used "external rendering" for text drafts because I never bought any of the
font cartridges.
