I think this is incorrect but I don't have my deskjet or harmonie anymore
(heck I don't even have my IIGS anymore ;) to check. "external rendering",
at least with the 500c driver was sending a text stream to the printer like
an 8 bit program, as Joe and I have already mentioned, IIRC. Btw, I was not
trying to contradict anyone, I was just adding my $0.02  :o)
