SuperSerial card and modem question...

I'm setting up a IIe with a SuperSerial card for a friend and was
wondering what kind of cable to get to connect a db25 female (SScard) to
a db25 female (modem).

All the current cables available for PC are female (PC) to male (modem).
Will a simple gender changer adapter work to make a male to male cable
that is needed for the SScard or are the pinouts diferents than a regular 
PC modem cable?
