AppleWorks

I still have my AppleWorks 2 software from 1980's.  I also have the
AppleWorks 3 software.  However, I never used AppleWorks 3 because it had
problem reading subdirectories...I would get garbage on the screen thus I
would always use AppleWorks 2.  Was this a bug in AppleWorks 3 or just my
software?  If it is just my copy, is there a place where I can download
AppleWorks 3?  I checked The Ground, Tarnover, and Asimov Archive ->
couldn't find it.

Also, what was the last version of AppleWorks supported on the Apple IIc+
(8-bit)?
