ProDOS 8 (the IIe operating system) has a problem ever few
years.  I think 1996 was the last time it happened.

However, the IIGS internal clock is just like a Macintosh
clock so when used with the IIGS native operating system,
GS/OS, the IIGS is quite Y2K proof.  In fact, the clock
does not have any problems until the year 2041!

Of course you'll need to change the battery a few times for
it to last that long.  ;-)
