Do you mean "without buying ProTerm?" Buy Proterm; it'll make your life so much
easier.
I transfer files from the PC using HyperTerminal on the PC and ProTerm on the
Apple II. Using the two telephone lines in my house, the PC calls the Apple,
which is set up in ProTerm Unattended mode. Sitting at the PC keyboard, I type
to the Apple to R)eceive the file in Y-modem protocol, as the manual suggests.
Works great.
