That is a really tough question to answer. It allows you to use VGA or SVGA
monitors with your Apple II(gs) but it never was "completed" so it has some
problems (others have detailed it's problems, you can do a deja search).
It sells for about $159 U.S., _if_ they make any more. You can do the math.
If you paid $10 for your IIGS and are new to the Apple II world it may not make
sense, however, if you've had your IIGS for years and half your business
is at stake it may be necessary. Anything in between, you make the call :o)
