Hi,

[As you'll soon tell by the end of this post, I'm a complete Macintosh newbie]

Just got myself a free Macintosh IIvx.   As yet, it doesn't have a modem, so
for me to download files, I have to download to PC first, then transfer using
PC exchange (my OS is 7.5).

My question is - all the mac ftp stuff I've seen is in .hqx format.   This 
seems to be the mac equivalent of pkzip.   Where can I download stuffit from ?

Also, can I just download onto floppy and then copy across ?   Is there a 
nice webpage somewhere describing the best way to do this ?
