That sounds like an excellent idea, only I goofed by formatting the hard
drive and it does not want add a new partition table.  So it kind of leaves
me wondering, are there any good diagnostic tools for SCSI hard drives on
the Apple II (or, maybe, Macintosh), so that I can get to the bottom of
this.  (I don't imaging that anythink can say if the seek mechanism is
sticky, but the part about the partition table seems to be suggesting an
actual problem with the media.)
