Software for an older Mac Modem

Hello everyone:

I found an older Modem from a Mac SE that I'd like to use with either my IIe
or IIgs.  It is a Practical Peripherals MC144MT II.  I didn't get any
software with it, and it wouldn't work on the A2 series anyway.  I would,
however, like to know if one of the A2 programs might work with it
nonetheless.  Do I need a specific driver or will one for the IIgs or IIe
work?  Also will a program like ProTerm or AppleLink work with this?  Thanks
