As Byron mentioned, there are slick freeware/shareware
terminals that provide robust VT100 support for the
Apple II.
If you need something even more (such as scrollback buffer,
mouse support, full zmodem ymodem xmodem kermit
support and scripting language) take a look at Intrec's web
site http://www.intrec.com/ for ProTERM 3.1 for the Apple II.
ProTERM 3.1 works even better with a mouse and 1MB
of memory. Check out http://www.allelec.com/ Alltech
Electronics for a 1MB memory card for the IIe if you want
to do this. Not necessary, but desirable.
1MB will enlarge the scrollback buffer considerably, for
example, so you can store your newsgroup messages
and save your entire session to disk.
