They do distinguish it in the owner's guide/reference.
The Owner's Guide which came with my ROM 0 IIgs just refers to it as
"Apple IIgs".
The Owner's Reference which came with my ROM 3 IIgs refers to it as:
"Apple IIgs (Apple IIgs with 1 megabyte of RAM)"
There is a similar clear distinction between the two in the IIgs
hardware reference (2nd edition).
Was there any similar distinction with IIc revisions prior to the IIc+?
For example, was there a new manual supplied with the revision 3 IIc
(memory expansion) which described it as "Apple IIc with memory
expansion slot"?
I think I'm splitting hairs. :-)
