The 6510 is identical to the 6502 except that it has an I/O
port at address locations $00,$01.
The C64 uses this port to control it's memory configuration and
also the cassette deck.
On an Apple ][ I daresay that this would conflict with the JMP
vector that Applesoft puts at location $00.
