Thanks for HP500..IIGS

Thanks to all who replied to posting about using the HP DeskJet 500 with a
IIGS for a friend of mine.

My buddy is battling with terminal cancer; and at times he can't remember how
things were accomplished in the past.

His IIGS was equipped with a parallel card in Slot 2 for use with the HP500.

I finally discovered that he did not have Slot 2 set for "Your Card" in the
Control Panel.  It was changed for the proper setting; but still would not
print.  I found out later that re-booting the computer must be done to
complete the procedure in order for printing after the stated Slot 2 change
was made.
