Apple IIe / ProDOS / Y2K?

Hope I'm not asking the obvious... I have been out of the Apple II
world for many years.

On a whim, I have pulled out my beloved IIe platinum, with Sider 10mb
hard drive, etc.

When I put it away it had ProDOS 8 Ver 1.8 (with a 23-May-89 date on
the banner) and Prosel as a front end. 

Good news .. Got it hooked up and it fired right up. 

Bad news... I set the no-slot clock to 12/31/99 @ 23:58 and waited.
Two minutes later the machine thought it was 1/1/00 but reported the
day of week as Friday (Should be Saturday).

Questions:

What is the latest version of ProDOS I can run on my 128K IIe
platinun?  Where can I obtain it?

Whjat is a good source of a white paper or FAQ on ProDOS & Y2K?

The machine reports "ProDOS Basic 1.4" Is this the latest
basic.system?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
