Yes and no.  The Apple card could be used as extra RAM and as a RAM
disk and there was at least one card that could cache disk accesses
(the Ohio Multi-Cache?) but I don't think any other card gave the
option to use whichever you preferred.  I'm also not sure if any other
disk cache card allowed you to cache up to 14 drives of any size/type.
