The Apple II has a combination hardware/software IBM XT
emulator called PC Transporter. The hardware is a
co-processor card that plugs into an Apple II slot. The
software is the I/O port-emu-ware and BIOS. The A2's
CPU emulates I/O while the hardware card provides the
IBM XT CPU.
The Apple IIGS has a software only emulator for running
Gameboy software, but the author has not completed it
yet. It runs, but without audio until the author puts that
function in.
