Does slowing down the TWGS help? For example, does putting the
original 28Mhz oscillator back on make the system more stable?
There is also one shortcoming of the GS self diagnostic: I don't think
it checks memory in the memory expansion slot. Something still
might be up with that RamPlus 4MB card.
Since you have a ROM 3, taking out the card should still allow you
to shift-boot System 6.0.1. Just thinking that you might want to
give it a try to see if the memory card has a problem with one or
more of its chips.
