Fingerprint GSi?

Hi All,

I recently picked up an old non-functioning IIGS for parts. When I opened
the case, there were a couple of cards that I did not recognize. The card
in slot 4 had Fingerprint GSi Precision Software printed on it. There was
also a plastic ribbon with a fingerprint button on the end.

Could you please tell me what this card was/is for? Does it need special
software to use it for whatever it is used for?

Any help would be appreciated.
