"what it does"?  Well, looks like a stripped down original ][ to me.  
Since it has a language card (I think... I'm not too savvy on specifics of 
really old Apple ][s), I guess it might boot into monitor or intbasic.  It 
does have a 16 key numeric keypad, though.

Anyhow, at least this has turned out to be an interesting thread.
