     If your GS even starts a boot, that's a pretty good sign.

     A common reason for the kind of problems you describe is an overloaded Slot
bus-- i.e. you've got more cards plugged in than the power supply leads and Slot
power traces can handle.

     Adding an accelerator represents a significant increase in current load so
you end up with voltage drops and noise spikes. A good try at curing the problem
is fatter +5V, +12V, and GND power supply leads and some power jumpers on the Slot
