IDE cable on TWGS???

Hello. I finally opened the shrinkwrap on my TWGS to take a look at it
yesterday. I was surprised to find what looked like an IDE cable going from
the card to the replacement CPU. Is it the same kind of cable? It has 40
pins, so I am wondering. I remember some people saying they had a bad cable
and it made me wonder.
