GS/OS and ProDOS-8 Question...

Does anyone know for sure whether you can use an 8 bit copy program like
Copy II Plus to copy GS/OS from a bunch of floppies to a hard drive?  Will
it lose the resources or are the files not stored with separate forks like a
Mac?  The reason I ask is that I need to create a GS/OS boot disk on a 1 meg
hard drive image inside an 8-bit emulator.  If I can't do this, I'll have to
use a real hard drive to make the image, write my own block copy in assembly
and reconstruct the hard disk image from 8x  140 KB .DSK images.  Either
way, I'm planning on testing my ROM-Drive card booting GS/OS...  Thanks in
advance for the help.
