Aha - so that's the 'some kind of novitiate' mentioned earlier in the
thread, then.
Of course you could just hire contractors.

The project I work on has just cleared out every single contractor.
They seem to be replacing them with ambitious grads (although I find
most people look like grads these days). By some bizarre stroke of
fortune I was switched to 'special employee' a few months ago.
Ho hum.
