It is either SCSI or IDE. AI made both versions.

I think so. AI's controllers were more advanced than AE's for the Vulcan,
so you might be able to swap a larger drive. If you have the SCSI version,
for sure you can. Probably for the IDE version too.

I'm not sure. AI's controller needed a driver. It'll work without one,
but much slower (and limited to two partitions). With the driver,
speed and partition numbers go up.
