You could always quote Einstein back at them.... Allegedly, the great man
was once asked what the speed of sound in air was, and answered along
the lines of "I don't memorize stuff I can look up in any encyclopedia".
Or something to that effect --- the only time I ever saw this quote it
was in a German issue of "Reader's Digest", and there was no telling 
how many times it had been bounced back and forth between German and English.
