Not without a Laser UDC (Universal Disk Controller) card.  I found
out when I tried to plug an external Laser 128 drive into the IIGS.
It didn't work.  That's because the Laser drive IS a Mac drive.

The UDC card is only available used.  Thus, if you see any card
at Salvation Army silkscreened with "Video Technology" and
having DB style disk drive connectors, grab it!

Lack of an eject button is not a problem.  IIGS users don't use
that button much because the software usually ejects the disk.
