But did anyone ever wonder why? Nathan and several other's of the "old
guard" were very passionate about their hobby, the Apple IIGS. When
their work was stolen they were deeply offended.

But ignorance with pirating is what drove away the creative force for
the GS. Yes, it's a difficult thing to do to take a stand on such
issues, but for alot of us, the GS meant alot to us. I conservatively
estimate that I had spent over $30,000CAN on software, peripherals and
related hardware on my GS system from 1989 to 1995. That's no small
investment in my opinion. I put my money where my heart was and
supported development to my utmost capability.

Well dispite my personal disagreements with pirating, I've never been
able to support name calling. This takes us away from the true issues. I
strongly disagree with a great many of Charles methods but that doesn't
mean I have to hate him or others who share his view. I will defend what
I believe to be right, ethical, and legal, but will not attack a person.
Of course these are my own personal beliefs.
In the end, we all must do what is right, or so I hope we will. Or am I
hoping for too much?
