That's pretty much all I use mine for - I find purpose build wire
cutters and strippers more convenient.

Unfortunately I only have a metric one - I may have to find a cheapie
US model on ebay  - it's a heck of a lot nicer than sticking the screw
in a vice and hitting it with a Dremel :-)
