Hi Beverly, the original goal, yes, was to patch Appleworks 3.0, but I guess
it turned into (on my end) an exercise to become hip to manipulating files
on the Apple and learn about the system. I've had the system in storage for
many years (acquisition from Dad), and finally have a place to use it, and
what's more, a NEED to use it (a few long-term database projects).
That universal patcher sounds excellent. P.S. Your support of the Apple 2 on
your Web site and in this forum is one of the reasons I find the Apple
community still interesting and relevant. This is important as 8-bit
computers complete their transition from "of-the-day" computers to "vintage"
computers.
