No idea, sorry. Remember C wasn't the ubiquitous language it is today at
that time. Pascal was far more common in the area of ALGOL-derived
languages.

Not natively until 1986, but look here:

Seems like the first accelerators appeared in 1982 or so, even before
the //e hit the market. But I guess they were quite rare in the beginning.
