Ap2222pc uses a different type of cable, between the parallel port of
the PC and the game port of the Apple (16 pin DIP type). You hook up
the cable, boot with a Dos disk, enter a few lines of assembly code
and then it creates an Apple disk for you to use in future sessions.
No dip switch configuration, no additional terminal software, no speed
settings, etc.
But anyway, thanks for the info on the disk formats. I understood
that the disks were done differently somehow, but was unclear on
whether or not the different formats had different numbers of tracks.
Thanks!
