The Focus drive is a hardcard. Size is 500MB. Cost is $79
for the drive of this size. It works in any Apple IIe, IIGS, or
Laser 128 series unit. I'm trying to build an extender cable
that'll route the external slot's contacts back into the Laser's
case. I'm taking out the internal 3.5" drive on my 128EX/2
and making space for the Focus card there.

A csa2 reader has recommended that I use a 50 channel
SCSI ribbon cable to route the signals from the external
slot back into the case ending in another slot connector. I
think that's a great idea and that's what I'm shooting for. ;-)

If not, I'm using a RotoZip saw and some plastic stock and
epoxy to build an extension to my Laser's case to cover the
exposed Focus card. I rather have the internal option, though,
if I can build the extender.
