Re: Apple 600e CD-ROM and Apple HS SCSI Card



I don't see why it would be a waste of money.  To add a CD drive to a
IIgs is a pretty good thing.  Seeing as folks pay good
money for a 17mhz chip, why not for a 600e?  I got mine (600e) with a
Mac LCIII that had a 1.2 gig hd in it, and a 17" monitor,
along with the 600e.  My cost?  $25.00.  Oh yes, that
included a StyleWriter printer.  My point is, there is
a lot of good equipment that can be had on the cheap
when buying from people who just want to get rid of
their "obsolete" systems.
