SCSI's not my bag, but it still sounds like the ID is wrong. Try an HD ID
different from zero.
As noted earlier, since this is not a bootable volume try setting it
up as an HFS volume. To do this you will need the HFS fst driver
in the system folder. Use the finder to locate the file on the original
then with the finder copy it to the system folder on your boot disk
and finder should put it in the right place. Reboot then try and setup
the drive. With HFS you can have a large drive.
I'm not sure but you may also be able to setup a small P8 drive and
make the rest HFS, but P8 by itself cannot use SCSI.
