This isn't quite true. I've had success with Netscape on Linux and Windows. As well
as IE 4 & 5. On my Linux system I download quite frequently using the right click and
save as method, with no trouble. After the download I use the TO_PRO utility included
with KEGS to put the files on a HD image, run shrinkit or shrinkit gs and the files
are
fine.
However, to avoid others having this problem from my site, I've set the names to
allow standard downloads. It is easier on the new user.
