Yes, APDA does still really exist. Apple has contracted with us to keep all
of those programs available so you can actually get real disks and real
documentation, but it does cost real dollars. Believe me, we don't make
enough to cover our time when we sell an Apple Pascal for $69--it comes with
about 2000 pages of documentation, and that costs a lot to print. If it's
not worth $69, fine, but you can't get it legally any other way.

ORCA/Pascal is also available for the Apple IIGS. It's faster, has a better
environment, is a more complete implementation of Pascal, mixes well with
other Apple IIGS languages like C and assembly, better documentation, and
there are two courses available to go with it--but is costs $95. Of course,
a decent compiler on a Mac or Windows machine usually costs a lot more.
