Text Based ISP?

        I have happily been using my Apple IIc with Proterm for many years
to access the net.  Even though I also have a WinTel computer with a normal
GUI account, I like to use the text-only service for a variety of
reasons, including speed and convenience.
 
        Today I learned that my text-based ISP, the LA Freenet, will no
longer offer their text-based service after the new year.  They said that
the Freenet software is not Y2K compliant.
 
        Does anyone know of any ISP's who have, and will continue to
offer, text-based access to the net?  Please post here, or e-mail me at
