Mustangs may still be pretty mean when they are all prepped up, but
they are MEAN when you need to get them ready.  It is amazing
what a couple of decades, embedded computers, and fuel injection
can do for cars.

Picture this:

Cold day on the west coast (as in not very cold...USA or BC Canada
in the spring).

Wake up in the morning.  You drive a Honda Accord, '92.  I drive an
old Mustang.  You start your engine and go.  I have to start my engine
and warm up the car.  If I don't, by the time I hit the first stop sign,
the engine will stall.

I have to warm up the engine such that by the time you are half way
to your destination, I can just get started.  ;-)

BUT, the Mustang was an awesome car for its day and I'd not give it
up for anything.  The IIGS is this way too (not a Pinto, but a Mustang).
What's so special about a Pinto?  But there is no arguing that there
was and is something special about a Mustang (or a Volkswagen
Beetle).
