I believe that when the Y2K problems start kicking in that legions of Apple II
users will "come out," particularly older folks who have been happily working
for years on their old reliable II's. I hear from people all the time who are
still trying to get help at their local computer store, or even worse, at Apple
Computer.

So true.  I just received my THIRD iMac keyboard in three months and a week
from Apple (don't they know how to make computers that last anymore?).  The
service center that has been contracted out by Apple to mail back the bad
keyboard and mail in a good one told me that they get customers coming in all
of the time trying to find programs for Apple II computers.  They haul it out
of the garage or pick one up for their children at a school auction.

I gave them a copy of our club newsletter so now they can point them in a
direction for help.
