You do indeed recall right.  His blazing exit was 7/14/98.  I'm marking the
happy occasion in a double way today.   It's also my 25th Anniversary with my
life mate.  At present, in honor of Nathan's one year absence, I've got three
REAL IIgs' running, and Bernie on my Mac - playing around with several IIgs
sound and music programs, appreciating the amazing 32 Channel ProLogic Stereo
Surround Sound abilities.  

It's really been a wonderful year on this newsgroup without having to do battle
with Nathan.  If I have the time today, I might just put a 'One Year
of Happiness Without Nathan'  VAMPS JukeBox disk together and upload it.
