Re: Which 3.5 drive do I need for my 2E enhanced?
I'd call it 6 drives counting the 1,44mb superdrive and PC disk drive.
And they'll all work on the IIe with the right interface card. Drives are easy
,
it's the controller card that's hard to find.
My personal first chouce would be a superdrive card with a 1.44mb or 800k
drive.
I believe the cards are still available from Sheve Systems(1-800-227-3971 or
www.sheyesystems.com although I don't believe the list it on thier web page)
My second choice would be the Liron card with 800k unidisk. Available second
hand only.
Third might be the blue disk floppy disk controller from SHH Systeme in
Germany.
This is a controller card for PC floppy drives. Haven't used one but hear good
reports.

Fourth choice might be a UDC card with a Laser or other disk drive with a
mechanical eject.
With some UDC cards the eject button on apple dives didn't function and using a
paper clip
is a pain.
