The very first version 1.0 and the very last beta version 3.0 of
Music Studio IIgs can be found from the following url.

If you're using Music Studio - v1.0 thru 1.x, they can load a song
file as either binary or text. If you are using v2.0 thru and/or
including v3.0 beta, these versions will only recognize and/or load
binary type song files.

The MS Vol. listed song files contain both text and binary file
types. If you encounter any Music Studio song (SNG) files within any
of these Song Vol. archives that are text files and you are using
v2.0 thru and/or including v3.0 beta - change them to binary file
type. If you don't, these versions of the Music Studio program won't
recognize and can't load them to play. To insure proper loading of
all wavebank and sound files for any specific song and simplify your
file ordering and access of your files by the Music Studio program,
place all of your sound (SND), song (SNG) and wavebank (WBNK) files
inside of a folder named SONGS.

Version 3.0 beta will install on your hard drive if you want to use
it from a hard drive. Version 2.0 thru 2.x will not launch from a
hard drive without the proper program patch applied to them. Version
1.0 thru 1.x can't be installed and run from a hard drive - PERIOD !


IIgs Emulator Compatibility 
 
v3.0b (MSb3EX.SHK) only has been tested.

XGS PPC v0.50r - Fair load time, eratic mouse action, temporary
screen blanking (sometimes) during load of any file, random crashing
on quit.

KEGS v0.49 - Fast load time, smooth mouse action, no screen blanking,
clean quit back to launcher/finder

Bernie v2.01 - Fast load time, jerky mouse action (may cause random
deactivation of your Mac system mouse cursor) or strange double mouse
cursor (Mac & IIgs) hanging or SHR screen section erasure, static and
such or a complete program screen - blanking to black, clean quit to
launcher/finder using GS/OS v6.0.1.

Full text file documentation for Version 3.0b pending and coming
soon. GS/OS and P8 Music Studio JukeBox programs in development as
freeware and coming soon also.  Pending this, a folder titled as 
Graphics.Tutorial is available containing color jpeg files that cover
every function/option, window and menu for v3.0b (MSb3EX.SHK). This
folder can be accessed from the following folder url.

The IIgs program - Music Composer (version 3.10 and up) can also
load, play, convert and save Music Studio song and sound files to
other IIgs and/or MIDI file formats.
