Just to better qualify the above ....

I will not transfer programs / disks that are still being sold or have been
sold in the last 5+ years.

My aim is not to deprive developers of sales or money - I am a developer and
shareware author myself.

My aim is to ensure that really old Apple ][ software - that hasn't been
sold or supported for a long time - is preserved in the on-line museums -
one of which we call Asimov.

I can think of many old Apple ][ programs that I had or read about or typed
in from magazines in the early 80's - that are still not on Asimov.  Old
programs on old disks are in danger of being lost forever as the disks
become bad and fail.  These - especially - need to be preserved.  All I have
done (see above message) is offered my help in preserving old Apple ][
disks.

As an Apple ][ fan, I would like to see the preservation of as much of the
software and information about the Apple ][ as possible.  As such, I am
prepared to provide my time and machine resources free of charge to ensure
that this happens.  I certainly don't want to deprive developers of any
possible sales or money.

I hope this makes my intentions and motives clear.
